One application, not six

Applying at several dealerships means several hard inquiries and several chances to be sold whatever rate that particular finance office can book. We take one application and place it across our lender panel of banks, credit unions, and captive lenders.

That matters for your credit file as well as your rate. Multiple auto inquiries inside a short shopping window are generally treated as a single inquiry, while applications scattered across months are counted separately and do real damage.

The markup nobody mentions

A dealer may mark up the rate a lender approved you for and keep the difference. It is legal, it is common, and it does not appear anywhere on a payment quote. On a typical deal a small markup is worth over a thousand dollars across the term.

We show you the offers as the lenders wrote them. If a structure has a markup in it, you will see it rather than absorb it.

What lenders are actually looking at

Two tests decide most applications. The first is payment to income: most lenders want gross monthly income of at least three times the payment. The second is debt to income, usually under about 45 percent including the new car.

The second test declines more people than the first, which is why paying down a credit card can do more for your approval than a raise would. Everything remains subject to each lender's criteria, and nobody can promise an approval before a lender has seen the file.

Where we work

We arrange leases and financing in all 50 states, and most clients never visit an office. Paperwork is handled remotely and the car is delivered to the address you give us.

If you would rather do it in person, the office is at 2912 Avenue X, Suite 104, Brooklyn, NY 11235. Clients across Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, The Bronx, and Long Island often collect locally. Open in Google Maps.

Common questions

Does applying through a broker hurt my credit more than one dealership?
No. One application placed with several lenders inside a short window is generally scored as a single inquiry, whereas applying separately at multiple dealerships over weeks or months creates separate inquiries.
Can you refinance a car loan I already have?
Where it genuinely saves money, yes. It is most often worth checking if your credit has improved since you took the original loan, or if the original rate carried a dealer markup.
What documents do I need to apply?
A valid driver's license, proof of income, proof of insurance, and proof of address. If you are self employed the income proof is usually two years of tax returns plus bank statements instead of pay stubs.
